Some of you know this news, but many of you don't so here it is........Surprise.........I'm pregnant. We are expecting a baby around August 20th. We will find out what the baby is on Thursday, so if I get around to posting......I'll let you know.
Today is Jared's 30th birthday!!! He's now entered a new decade in life. Good for him! This past weekend my parents and Jenny came to visit. We went to dinner on Friday night and watched a movie. On Saturday Jared and I got up early and went to the Jordan River Temple. In the afternoon we met at John and Linz's and had pizza and went bowling. Allie, Kaylee, and Gavin had sooooo much fun. They had a hard time waiting for their turn. Here are some pictures. It was dark in there, so its kind of hard to see.
Kaylee would push the ball down the ramp and stand and watch it roll down the lane. Allie on the other hand took a winding swing and threw it down the lane and held her hands up until it hit some pins.
In my ward I am the Activity Day leader for 8-11 year old girls. Allie insists on being part of their activities. In this picture we were making a friendship mix where every girl brought a favorite snack, we added 1 cup of each into the bowl, took turns mixing, and helped each other take 1 cup of the new variety of snacks out, and sharing 1 thing we liked about that girl. It encouraged having more friends makes life more interesting and better.
One afternoon while I was scrapbooking I hooked this train up for the girls to entertain them. They thought it was fun for a little while. I think they think their ideas are much more fun and exciting. So now you know why I don't blog a lot.........its because I'm busy scrapbooking....AND other things too.
