Kristi, Jen, and Heather getting together for a friend picnic. It was great to see my old friends again! =)
Sydney and Zeke celebrated their 2nd birthdays together! I made these cakes with the help of Beth Anne. Zeke's is a farm train and Sydney's is a zoo train. Happy Birthday almost twin cousins!
On Sydney's actual birthday we made strawberry shortcake cupcakes! She loved them!
Sydney loves to eat strawberries! We love our cutie pie!
James Family Grandkid Pics!
Silly Faces!
Everyone in our James Family was here! Its so fun to get together!
My how our family has grown!
Splat painting at Grandma and Grandpa James' house! It was quite an adventure. We were making an 80's CatWalk for Jesse's surprise 80's birthday party!
Cup Cakes, cup cakes, and more CUP CAKES! And of course in neon frosting.......80's right! By the way the posters on the wall were 80's memories and facts. Jenny, Tia, and I had so much fun laughing and reminissing about what crazy things happened in the 80's.
We had fun dressing up in our 80's fashion that we found at the stores today (I can't believe some of these fashions are back---didn't anyone look at school pictures from the 80's?)!!! Tia especially rocks 80's fashion!
Allie loved this style and wanted to wear it to school! She especially loved her own bangs! Kelly (my long time brother) definately watched shows like Fresh Prince of Bel Air and wore a walkman! Word!!! =)
Notice Kaylee's high tops, the My Little Pony shirt, side ponytails...This is their normal clothes......80's must have stuck with me somehow.
Tia, Jenny, Hayden, Amy, Rachel Cottam, Valarie, and Allie. What a great looking bunch! Nice gloves Tia! (she let me borrow the other one for the night....thanks!)
My Dad looks the same now as I remember him in the 80's! Even his shirt reminds me of my Saturday morning cartoon days! Love ya Dad!
Jesse (holding Zeke) and Matt (one of his best friends) celebrating their 30th birthdays together! Happy B-Day! Recognize Animal on Jesse's shirt! And of course his awesome suspenders! Florescents!!! Jenny, Tia, and I had fun decorating their cupcakes. We even put pop rocks on the big ones!
Allie's first day of 2nd grade! New school, new teacher, new classmates......bring it on!!!
Allie has been loosing here teeth. Can you tell she is missing 4 front teeth? Just in time for school pics.
Labor day parade in Blackfoot! We love parades for the excitement, the floats, the dancers, the old cars, the marching bands, the mascotts, and especially the candy!
Nothing like handing out with your family!
Grandpa and Grandma and Tia made these awesome totum poles (maybe Jesse too???) They surround their fire pit and the kids are roasting marshmallows.
Suzi.......CUTIE!
This is how Sydney eats a PB&J sandwich.
Lunch at Grandma's with cousins. Nothing better than sandwiches and milk!
Grandma celebrating her birthday her favorite way....with family.....especially her grandkids. Pineapple Upside Down cake, her favorite.
Kaylee's first day of ballet/tap. She loves it!
Allie is taking ballet/jazz and loves it too, I don't have access to taking pictures in her class.....to distracting to the dancers.
Probably because she loves music and wearing pink!
Neighborhood Carnival. Allie eating a doughnut hanging on a string. Go Allie go..........probably tough with no front teeth.
And the bounce houses! So fun!
Don't forget the fish pond. Kaylee is catching a prize!
For Kristi's birthday we went to Cornbelly's for a fun time! Jared's taking the picture, or else he would have to be the face of a cow. Kristi is the sheep, Sydney the goat, Allie the horse, and Kaylee the pig.
Nothing like feeling elfish and small!
The funtastic pig races! Yee haw!
Princess land. Allie riding the horse and Kaylee in the carriage!
Jared trying to help the girls race on these cool bouncey horses.
Dressing up like princesses and meeting a true Halloween Princess, how lucky are we!
Going for a bumpy ride.....and we mean bumpy!
Sydney playing in the train. What cute play equipment!
Our attempt at a corn maze!
The girls had fun at first because we were finding the next stops quickly, but after a while we got lost and they got tired of being in. Plus it got dark, so by chance we found an emergency exit and made it out by walking clear around the outside of the maze. Best not to do this at night........and maybe when the kids are a little older. Still fun though!
My birthday candles are invisible, so a liter had to do!
My garden harvest. (I grew everything in pots!)
Sydney found herself a "baby" pumpkin. Isn't it cute!
Looking for pumpkins is so much fun. This year it was warm clear into October......not even jackets for us!
We found ourselves some nice pumpkins and had a lot of fun painting/carving them!
Allie, Kaylee, and Sydney our little country girls!
Posing on the tractor!
Kaylee's doing preschool with our neighborhood kids. This is their Halloween Preschool and they got to dress up!
Jared being Frankenstein!
Kaylee (Black Cat) and her friend Kennedy square dancing at our Ward Harvest Party.
Allie (Skeleton Rockstar) doing chicken dance at the Harvest Party!
We are the MONSTER MASH BAND! Kristi (witch playing guitar broom), Sydney (pumpkin playing the maracas), Allie (skeleton rockstar playing the drums), Kaylee (cat singing in a pumpkin microphone), and Jared (Frankestien playing the keyboard)!!!
What is Halloween without a little TRICK or TREATING????
