News! News! News!
I ought to put pics on, but I really haven't taken too many lately. I guess that will go on my to do list this week. (It doesn't mean it will get posted though). I just love reading Lindsey and John's blog and what they do on a week to week basis............I guess you'll have to call me to find out our events. Here is a little rundown of some of our lately's: Our dryer broke down almost 2 weeks ago, and we are having a repair person come tomorrow. Imagine it takes 10 days to get them out to our house. Crazy...so I've been washing clothes in our washer and hanging them to dry. Not too bad, but definately a step back in today's world. I told Jared today that maybe he won't have to wear crunchy jeans soon. =) We got carpet in our basement last Thursday, which is fabulous. The girls ask to go down and play in the basement all day long. Thanks to Grandpa James we have the best basement playhouse ever!!! I had to teach a lesson in Relief Society today, so I am happy to say that is done now. I also helped with our Relief Society birthday dinner and service auction, which turned out to be a fun night. Currently we are planning a night learning about square foot gardening and container gardens. I love spring! Jared is busy keeping up with work projects and coming home to do little this's and that's to finish the basement or help our neighbors move. I think he was happy to do nothing Friday night. We are all getting spring fever. I told Jared as long as snow melts quickly it can still come for 1 more month. Kaylee asks if we can go swimming outside. I think she can tell the weather is warming up. Allie really enjoys school, but likes staying home and playing too. I think they do a lot in school now and it wears the kids out some. Sydney is never worn out. She is busy playing and running and trying to say new words. She tries to open everything and squish little toys into small spaces (like a play spoon into our DVD player). Luckily we haven't broke anything or had any mishaps. She does get the bumps on her head from toppling into things, but still tries to do it again. One of her favorite things is sitting in a chair at the table and trying to color like Allie and Kaylee. Funny girls. Kaylee loves being her own boss and prides herself in picking out her own outfits. She also loves styling Mommy's hair with lots of barrets. CUTE!!! Well, enjoy your day, mine is about over today and I plan to relax!!!
